We have a wide variety of hill walks in and around Carlton to cater for all levels of ability. Our most popular route is the local 'Three Peaks Challenge'. Taking in the striking panorama of the Teesvalley, this route runs along the Cleveland Way between Lordstones and Clay Bank climbing over the summits of Cringle Moor, Cold Moor and Hasty Bank. 

 

We include lots of discussion in all of our walks detailing the diverse local history of the area, the geology and formation of the landscapes, the flora and fauna as well as local tales and folk stories.
