AALA
The Adventure Activities Licensing Authority (AALA) ensures that activity providers follow good safety management practices. These should allow young people to experience exciting and stimulating activities outdoors without being exposed to avoidable risks to death or disabling injury.
AHOEC
Association of Heads of Outdoor Education Centres (AHOEC) is committed to championing high quality outdoor learning at all levels. AHOEC supports group leaders prepare and plan outdoor education based visits by providing a measured and appropriate approach to the management of risk.
LOtC
Learning Outside the Classroom (LOtC) is the use of places other than the classroom for teaching and learning. It is about getting children and young people out and about, providing them with challenging, exciting and different experiences to help them learn.
Friends of Carlton Camp
Friends of Carlton Camp (FOCC) is a registered charity that are dedicated to ensuring all primary school pupils continue to experience Carlton Adventure and to support under privileged children to have the same opportunities.
